Traveling anywhere…
If I was able to travel anywhere in the world I would probably chose ancient Egypt. That was the most exciting unit that I ever studied in school. I would be interesting to see how they ruled. Also, their way of communication, writing, and the mummification process. It would be interesting to see how they made the papyrus and how they used them to write on. Living today, I am used to having all the modern conviences and technology. Seeing how people survived without these things and seeing that that was all they knew would be quite interesting. Seeing the pyramids being built would also be magnificant. They are such a marvel in our world, even to this day, that being present while they were created, and knowing how well they have been preserved, would be very exciting. That would be a nice vacation, but personally I prefer to live my everdyday life today.
