If I could travel anywhere…
May 8, 2007…it would be to the 50th floor of the US Bank building on Wisconsin and Cass St. at 1:00 pm, May 8, 2020. I would do that tomorrow.

The facet of current interest culture that most interests me is the phenomenon known as “Baliwood,” the huge film industry centered in Bombay. The industry spews out more movies than any culture in the world, and its ticket sales are the highest as well. For some reason, movies have ingrained themselves as a large part of the culture in India, becoming a very important part of their lives, which most people would probably think are traditional and provincial. Another interesting part of the Indian film industry is their ties with the mob, which are shady to say the least.

I would have to say Achilles from The Illiad. I would want to meet him because he was a great warrior.
I would grab my Playstation 2 and my cat.
I’m very interested in Ancient Rome so I figured why not read some literature from Ancient Rome and Greece.
I would have to say that my favorite story would be the Iliad by Homer.
I know that myths are all made up I don’t believe that the stories I hear are true but I believe that they are probably based on actual events that have been fluffed up to sound better and make better stories for people to believe.
I think myths are still important to our culture but in a different way. I think that we gossip more than share myths but it still serves the same purpose. Most of the gossip that we hear is of bad things and those can create moral for people to follow by like what not to do or what not to wear. Back then myths were much more important because they really believed myths explained several phenomena in everyday life, not just about who is wearing what and who did what to who like it is today.
