What is your favorite story in Roman mythology?

If I could travel anywhwere in the World, I would travel to present day Africa.  Africa is, and has been, in a time of need and action needs to be taken towards helping the people.  People are being Raped, Murdered, Mutilated and Hacked Apart with Machetes, Sold as Slaves, Burnt Alive, and Displaced from their homes, while we sit in luxury.  We need to realize how easy our lives are.  We live in a place where we don’t have to worry about men on horseback coming, burning your house down, and murdering your family in all sorts of horrible ways.  Back to the point, I understand, we have some idiot policemen, and a disfunctional government, but it is nothing compared to the status of some government in places of Africa.  We should be so thankful for what we have. 

On a lighter note, I would also travel back to the middle ages and live in the land of Middle Earth.  That would just be plain awesome.
