World Literature Blog 4/5

I would have to say Achilles from The Illiad. I would want to meet him because he was a great warrior.

I would grab my Playstation 2 and my cat.

I’m very interested in Ancient Rome so I figured why not read some literature from Ancient Rome and Greece.

Yes it does make a sound.

I would have to say that my favorite story would be the Iliad by Homer.

Why did you choose the group that you did?

If I could choose one region of the world to go to, it would have to be Ancient Rome.  The time period that I would go to would be from 200-300 BC.  The reason that I would go to Rome during this time period is to become a gladiator.  One of the main reasons is because I like the human struggle of human versus human.  At every moment you’re challenged to be the ultimate human being that you can be.  If you let up you die.  There’s also one thing that I’ve always wanted to be and thats Russell Crowe.  This will not only let me be like Russell Crowe, but I, in fact, would dominate Russell Crowe. There’s also the great tradition that lives in Ancient Rome and I think it would be cool to live like that for awhile.  That is why I would choose Ancient Rome as the place I would want to go to.
